Greetings Pemberton Families,
The faculty and staff at Pemberton Elementary School join me in saying we’re happy to have each of you as part of the Pemberton learning community. We look forward to the engaging learning opportunities that your child will experience as they transition back to in-person learning this year.
Our theme for this school year will be, “We are a TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More”. We hope to come together as one TEAM here at Pemberton to provide a wonderful learning experience for your child.

Please mark your calendars for our Open House dates and times. At this event, students will have a chance to meet their teacher and drop off school supplies in their new classroom. KG Open House will take place on September 1st from 3:00 – 5:00pm. We are asking for students with last names A-M consider coming from 3:00-4:00pm and N-Z coming from 4:00-5:00pm. 1st -5th grade Open House will take place on September 2nd from 3:00-5:00pm. Students with last names A-M are invited to come from 3:00-4:00pm and students with the last names N-Z are invited to come from 4:00-5:00pm. If the suggested times do not work for your schedule, please come at a time that is convenient. Students in our Socially Integrated Services program are invited to come at 2:30 PM on September 2nd. We will be monitoring the latest recommendations from our Health Committee and communicate any changes, as soon as possible.
Other Important Information
School hours this year will be different than last year. Student arrival for buses and car riders will take place each day from 7:50 am – 8:10 am. The tardy bell will ring at 8:10 am. Students are expected to be in their classrooms at 8:10 am. Student dismissal is scheduled to begin each afternoon at 2:40 pm. Logistics and procedures will be shared with parents later in August, however, at this time I wanted to make sure that all parents/guardians were aware of the 2021-2022 school hours.
PowerSchool Parent Portal:
PowerSchool Parent Portal is open for account creation only at this time. One parent/guardian for each student (K-5) needs to have a PowerSchool account. Directions for creating a PowerSchool account can be found by clicking here. If you need assistance with your child’s Student Identification Number, please call our Main Office at (804)750-2660 Mon.-Thursday between 7:30-5:00. PowerSchool Parent Portal allows parents/guardians many conveniences such as completing online forms, viewing student grades and assignments, accessing bus routes and numbers, and viewing homeroom teacher assignments.
